Payment Information

All Mobile Cone Beam CT Scans must be paid for at the time of service, either by the dental practice or the patient. We accept credit/debit card payments and recommend informing the patient in advance of their payment responsibility. Additional services, such as implant planning and surgical guides, are billed to the dental practice once the services are completed. Please note that we require a 24-hour cancellation notice to avoid a fee. Mobile 3D Imaging is a fee-for-service imaging company and is not contracted with any insurance provider. Our streamlined approach allows us to keep scan pricing competitive and cost-effective.


Patient Mobile Cone Beam CT Scans Appointment

We kindly request that the patient arrives at your office at least 15 minutes before the scheduled scan time. As a mobile unit, punctuality is essential to ensure a timely transition to the next appointment. During the procedure, the patient will remain fully clothed, as only the head and neck will be scanned. There is no need for the patient to fast or avoid liquids, and no injections or liquids will be administered before the scan. The scan typically takes between 18 to 28 seconds. For safety and image quality, the patient must remove all metal objects from their head and neck, including items like metal dentures, glasses, and jewelry, including tongue rings. The doctor or office staff are welcome to be present during the scan.


From start to finish, the entire process should conclude in under 20 minutes. In some cases, immediate access to the images may not be available, but we aim to make them accessible as promptly as possible for the doctor's review."
